- Which PTZ should a small church buy first?
- Start with the Move SE 20x unless the room is short (12x) or very long (30x). That is the recommend row for a camera on the back wall. If one person runs the booth, read one volunteer Sunday before you add a second camera. The room, seat, and skip map is the buyer’s guide.
- Is a cheap Amazon PTZ good enough?
- It can work for a 1080p stream when the budget is hard-capped. FoMaKo and Tenveo 20x stay hold. The next two questions are the cart check. If the limit is seats, read under ~150 seats. That guide still starts with Move SE.
- Which FoMaKo body is in the cart?
- FoMaKo is a family, not one camera. Read the model string on the FoMaKo page before you pay. FMK20UH NDI is the default budget body: HDMI, USB 3.0, and LAN with NDI. No SDI. FMK20SDI Pro is the SDI cart. NDI is an upgrade on that body, not included. A 4K FoMaKo that still says 20x is a different cart. Current Amazon and FoMaKo FAQ copy is a one-year warranty. Some SDI Pro banners still say three-year limited. Neither matches the five-year Move SE warranty. The support email on the FoMaKo site is in Shenzhen. If a volunteer cannot tell FMK20UH NDI from FMK20SDI Pro, or from a 4K bundle, do not check out on Saturday night.
- Which Tenveo 20x body is in the cart?
- Tenveo is a family too. Read the model string on the Tenveo 20x page, not the zoom number. VHD20H is the default: HDMI, USB 3.0, and LAN. No SDI and no NDI. VX20M-N is the cart with 3G-SDI and NDI HX2. VL20N is a conference-shaped sibling. NDI on that line is a variant, not the base cart. Current Tenveo US and Amazon copy is a three-year warranty, two years shorter than Move SE. Gesture control on the VHD20H listing is about 16 to 26 ft. That is not a back-wall tracker. Set presets. If you cannot decode VHD20H vs VX20M-N on Saturday, leave the cart.
- Do we need 4K?
- Not if you only deliver 1080p to YouTube or Facebook. Hold Move 4K.
- What if we already have a camcorder or meeting-room camera?
- Those are different tools. See the wrong-tool path below, then the buyer’s guide.
- What do we compare after the camera?
- The camera is one piece of Sunday. Fixed booth, OBS, or a computer-free box: compare switchers. First pastor lav: compare wireless lav. Dim faces on the PTZ: compare lights. Then pick the guide that matches the constraint you actually have: the buyer’s guide, under ~150 seats, or one volunteer Sunday.
