BLX14/CVL
Why this is here: first pastor-audio SKU after the camera and switcher pages. It is not a camera. It is not a switcher.
A Shure analog UHF wireless presenter kit: BLX4 tabletop receiver, BLX1 bodypack, and CVL Centraverse cardioid lav. The box also includes the power supply, clip, windscreens, AA batteries, and the user guide. This is the entry wireless lav for a pastor who needs to walk and still hit the stream.
This does not replace a Move SE or an ATEM Mini. It sits in front of the mixer. You still need an XLR path from the receiver into the sanctuary mix and into the stream.
Who it is for
Need and seat count, not marketing names. Whether you actually need wireless, and how many lavs must be live at once, is the useful number.

Volunteer skill
- QuickScan and a bodypack clip: Sunday-viable after one rehearsal. A volunteer who can turn the pack on, check the receiver lights, and leave the frequency alone.
- Band pick (H9, H10, H11, J11): do this once, before purchase, against local TV white space. Not a first-Sunday experiment.
- Mixer / XLR into the stream: still required. The receiver has XLR and 1/4 inch. Someone has to patch it.
- AA discipline: BLX1 runs on two AAs for up to about 14 hours. Someone has to check batteries before service.

- US bands on this SKU: H9 512 to 542 MHz, H10 542 to 572 MHz, H11 572 to 596 MHz, J11 596 to 616 MHz. Choose by location and TV white space. The wrong band is a dead kit in your room.
- BLX1 bodypack: 2x AA, up to about 14 hours. Receiver outputs: XLR and 1/4 inch.
- CVL is the entry Centraverse cardioid lav. Fine for speech. It is not a premium WL185. Do not expect WL185 presence from this capsule.

Honest verdict
Recommend the single BLX14/CVL as the default first wireless pastor lav for a small church under about $360 that needs wireless and does not yet need digital wireless.
Pick the frequency band for the zip code before you buy. Analog can struggle in RF-crowded metros. CVL is an entry lav: fine for speech, not a premium WL185. You still need a mixer or XLR path into the stream. Someone has to check the AA batteries.
Recommend dual BLX188/CVL only when two simultaneous lavs are real (two pastors, or pastor plus worship). B&H had the H10 dual at $689.00 in stock this fetch. Skip or hold if you already own digital wireless, or if a wired SM58 on a stand is enough for the room.
SLX-D and EW-D come later on this site. Do not treat this analog kit as that upgrade.
