ATEM Mini
Why this is here: first hardware switcher / encoder SKU after the camera pages. It is not a camera.
A compact HDMI live switcher and encoder from Blackmagic Design. Current family is ATEM Mini Pro, ATEM Mini Pro ISO, ATEM Mini Extreme, and ATEM Mini Extreme ISO G2. The original base ATEM Mini (no Pro) is gone from Blackmagic’s current lineup.
USB webcam out, HDMI program out, built-in streaming. You cut cameras and slides on a hardware panel instead of clicking scenes in OBS. This does not replace a Move SE. It sits after the cameras.
Who it is for
Seat count and camera count, not marketing names. How many HDMI sources you actually switch is the useful number.

If you only buy one ATEM Mini for a small church, buy the Pro ISO.
Volunteer skill
- Cut bus on Pro / Pro ISO: Sunday-viable after one rehearsal. A volunteer who can press the lit camera button and leave the rest alone.
- Program / preview mode: needs practice. Do not put a first-Sunday volunteer on PGM/PVW without a dry run.
- Extreme feature depth (SuperSource, four chroma keyers, two DVEs): a trained volunteer, not the person who also runs lyrics and the pastor mic.
- Extreme ISO G2 panel (hardware fader, CFexpress, Thunderbolt): same skill bar as Extreme, plus someone who will actually use ISO of 8 and the extra I/O.

Honest verdict
Recommend the Pro ISO for a typical small church that already has two to four HDMI cameras (or a PTZ plus a stage camera plus slides) and one or two volunteers.
Buy the Pro only if you are sure you will never want isolated recordings or a Resolve project to fix a missed cut. Hold the Extreme for most rooms: buy it when you actually have five to eight HDMI sources and a volunteer who has practiced. Skip Extreme ISO G2 unless you need ISO of all eight plus the bigger panel and can absorb about $1,800 to $2,200.
Skip a hardware switcher entirely if you only have one or two cameras going into OBS and nobody is fighting the software switch. That money belongs on a second camera or a better mic, not here.
Honest limits: HDMI only, no native SDI, pastor XLR usually still needs a mixer on Pro / Pro ISO. This box does not replace Move SE. It sits after the cameras.
Compared with staying in OBS: you pay a few hundred dollars, you get a physical cut bus a volunteer can hit, and you give up the “one laptop does everything” path. For a two-to-four camera Sunday, that trade is usually worth it. For a single USB camera, it is not.
