SL60IID

hold

Cheaper daylight COB sibling of the SL100D. Hold it for a tight budget or a smaller room. SL100D stays the default.

Why this is here: third lights SKU, the cheaper daylight sibling of SL100D. It is not a second recommend. It does not take the key-light job from SL100D. Softbox 60×90 stays the modifier.

A Godox daylight COB monolight. Hero SKU is SL60IID. Godox.com lists max 70W, 5600K, Bowens mount, AC only. B&H calls the front Bowens S. Pair it with the same softbox. This fixture does not replace SL100D, Move SE, an ATEM Mini, or HCM-1.

Who it is for

Smaller room or a tight budget, not the brighter head. Whether the sanctuary is dim enough to want the SL100D’s extra output is the real question.

If you only buy one fill light for a dim sanctuary, buy SL100D and Softbox 60×90. Buy SL60IID only when that head is more output than the room needs, or the cart has to stay cheaper.

Standout details

Facts from the Godox SL60IID spec table and the B&H product page (fetched 2026-09-22). Prefer Godox.com for wattage. Prefer B&H for mount wording, the fan line, and the hero street price. Adorama returned HTTP 403, so it is not a price source.

Rechecked 2026-10-20: B&H listed the SL60IID at $139.00 in stock, unchanged.

Honest verdict

Hold SL60IID. It is the cheaper, lower-output daylight COB next to SL100D: max 70W, Bowens S, about $139 street, AC only.

Do not let it take the recommend from SL100D. A dim sanctuary that makes a Move SE noisy on faces still wants the brighter head. Softbox 60×90 stays the recommend modifier for either head.

Buy SL60IID when the room is smaller or the budget is tight, and you still want a Godox Bowens daylight COB rather than a flat panel. One useful fill light for a dim room stays SL100D plus the softbox.

Honest limits: less reflector lux than SL100D (18,600 vs about 32,100 at 1 m), AC-only, the fan is not silent, you still need a stand plus a softbox or umbrella, daylight only (SL60IIBi is the bi-color sibling and is not this page), and this does not replace a camera, switcher, mount, or audio path.
