HCM-1

Why this is here: first mounts, cables, and lights SKU after the pastor-audio set. It is not a camera. It is the small wall bracket a Move SE hangs on.

A small universal wall mount sold as PTZOptics and HuddleCamHD. Same family, two labels. Primary vendor on this site is PTZOptics. Hero SKUs are HCM-1-BK (black) and HCM-1-WH (white). The Move SE G3 datasheet lists those two as the small universal wall mount (mounts to a wall or a gang box with the hardware in the box).

This is a bracket. It does not replace Move SE or an ATEM Mini.

Who it is for

Start with base size and wall. Whether the camera is a small-base PTZ (Move SE and most other PTZOptics bodies) or a large-base 30X 4K body is the real question.

If you only buy one wall mount for a small church with a Move SE, buy HCM-1 in the camera color. If that camera hangs from a ceiling or a junction box instead, buy PT-CM-1. Do not demote HCM-1 for a wall.

Volunteer skill

• One person with a drill and a stud finder.
• Still need to hit a stud, or use a 2-gang box, for a permanent sanctuary install. Drywall anchors in the box are for light or temporary hangs, not a forever Sunday camera over heads.
• Level with the slotted holes. Run cable through the access hole or into the wall.
• Not a two-person AV crew job. Not a first-Sunday “set it on the pulpit” job either.

Standout details

Facts from the HuddleCamHD HCM-1 datasheet, the PTZOptics mounts hub, the Move SE G3 spec, and live retailer carts (fetched 2026-09-13). Prefer manufacturer pages for fit and hardware. Prefer B&H live carts for the hero street price.

• Heavy-gauge steel. Thin-profile wall mount for small-base PTZs. About 5.7 in wide by 8.3 in deep by 5.1 in tall. About 1.9 lb.
• Industry-standard 1/4-20 camera screw in a slotted hole. Hardware in the box: wall screws, drywall or masonry anchors, 1/4-20 bolt, 2-gang box screws.
• Slotted leveling holes opposed by 90 degrees. Precut pattern for a U.S. double-gang box. Cable access under the mount or into the wall.
• Black or white powder coat. Match the camera. Status on this site uses words (recommend / hold / skip), not color-only cues.
• Dual branding: HuddleCamHD and PTZOptics sell the same HCM-1 SKUs. HuddleCamHD’s mounts page claims the wall mounts are made in the USA (MSRP $99). The PTZOptics mounts hub claims a 10-year warranty on wall mounts and says pole mounts are USA-made. It does not repeat “USA-made” on the wall-mount blurb. Reseller copy often repeats both claims. Treat USA-made as a HuddleCamHD claim, not a fact this page independently verified.
• Warranty notes differ. B&H HCM-1 pages print a limited 3-year manufacturer warranty. Adorama HCM-1-BK prints a 3-year HuddleCamHD warranty. Markertek HCM-1 pages (items PTZ-HCM-1-BK and PTZ-HCM-1-WH) print 10 years. The PTZOptics mounts hub also claims 10 years. Confirm the warranty on the invoice, not the marketing paragraph.
• Fit from the HCM-1 datasheet: most PTZOptics cameras, all HuddleCamHD cameras, and most small PTZs with a 1/4-20 insert. Explicitly incompatible with PTZOptics Move 4K 30X and Link 4K 30X. Those bodies want PT-WM-3.
• Flush ceiling for the same small-base camera is PT-CM-1 (black or white). HCM-1 does not become a ceiling plate. A 1 inch NPT pole is HCM-1C, not this tray and not PT-CM-1.
• Adjacent PT-WM-3-BK / PT-WM-3-WH: large wall mount aimed at Move 4K 30X and Link 4K 30X. B&H listed both at $110.00 in stock this fetch (BH# PTWM3BK / PTWM3WH, limited 10-year on those pages). Pro AV Warehouse listed both colors at $110.00 in stock. Hold as the default Move SE buy.
• This is not a camera. Move SE is the default back-wall PTZ this mount is for.

Honest verdict

Recommend HCM-1 as the default back-wall mount when the camera is Move SE or another small-base PTZ. Buy black or white to match the camera. Street is about $90 at B&H this fetch (Pro AV black was $85). The flush ceiling job is PT-CM-1. That page does not change this wall verdict.

Hold PT-WM-3 unless the body is Move 4K 30X or Link 4K 30X, or you already know you need the larger tray.

Skip the mount if the camera already sits on a shelf or tripod that is safe Sunday. A wall bracket is not required for a camera that already has a safe home.

Honest limits: you still have to hit a stud or a gang box for a permanent sanctuary hang, drywall-only anchors are not a forever plan over people, this tray does not fit Move 4K 30X / Link 4K 30X, and a mount is not a camera or a switcher.
