C2G AOC

hold

Hold when you need fiber/EMI immunity or plenum CMP for a long sanctuary HDMI run; default copper is Active HDMI 50ft.

Why this is here: second cables SKU after Active HDMI. It is not a camera. It is the fiber AOC hold when a Move SE on HCM-1 to an ATEM Mini run needs EMI immunity or plenum CMP.

A C2G Performance Series High Speed HDMI Active Optical Cable. Hero MFR is C2G41484. Fifty feet, plenum CMP, 18Gbps High Speed (4K at 60Hz). Fiber for EMI. Directional: SOURCE at the camera, DISPLAY at the switcher. Optional USB-C power pigtail on the display end. This cable does not replace Active HDMI, Move SE, an ATEM Mini, or HCM-1.

Who it is for

Start with fiber and code. Whether copper already holds Sunday, or the path needs fiber, EMI immunity, or plenum CMP, is the real question.

If you only buy one HDMI run for a small church with a Move SE on the back wall and an ATEM Mini, buy Active HDMI (PID 13760). Buy C2G AOC only when fiber, EMI, or CMP is the real reason.

Honest verdict

Hold this 50ft C2G Performance Series AOC. It is the fiber step-up, not the default sanctuary HDMI buy.

Default copper is still Active HDMI (about $100). Churches often do not need $327 plenum. Buy C2G AOC when copper flakes, EMI is real, the run is long fiber, or building code wants CMP.

Hold cheaper BlueRigger CL3 (about $70) when you want church fiber and you do not need plenum. Hold StarTech hybrid AOC (about $167) when you want 48Gbps CMP. Hold CableLeader plenum (about $59) as budget CMP. A short room uses Premium HDMI (about $31). A long copper run stays Active HDMI.

Skip if you already have a working run. This is a cable, not a camera, switcher, or mount.

Honest limits: the cable is directional, many churches do not need CMP, 1080p Move SE does not need 48Gbps, and a $327 commercial AOC is the wrong buy when $100 copper already holds Sunday.
